How it works

  1. 1. Pick a game and set it up

Choose the Tier List Maker, the Bracket Builder or the arcade maze. Load a preset or paste your own list — no account, no install.

  2. 2. Drop the overlay into OBS

Copy the overlay URL from your host panel and add it as a Browser Source at 1920×1080. The background is transparent, so it composites straight over gameplay.

  3. 3. Let chat drive it

Run the session from the host panel while your community argues in chat. Every change shows up on stream in real time.

Frequently asked questions

What is Play On Stream?
Play On Stream is a free, browser-based set of interactive mini-games for live streamers on Twitch, Kick and YouTube. It includes a Tier List Maker, a Bracket Builder and a Pac-Man-style 8-bit arcade maze. There is no login and nothing to download — create a session, drop the overlay URL into OBS, and you are live in under a minute.
How do I add an interactive overlay to OBS?
Open any game session and click Copy OBS overlay URL. In OBS Studio add a new Browser Source, paste the URL, and set the width to 1920 and height to 1080. The overlay has a transparent background and updates in real time, so it sits directly over your gameplay with no extra setup.
Is Play On Stream free for streamers?
Yes. Every game is free with no account, subscription, credit card or session limit. Play On Stream is built by the team behind StreamerPerks, a free directory of affiliate programs for creators, and is funded the same way — through affiliate partnerships on that site rather than by charging streamers.
How does the live Tier List Maker work?
You drag items into custom tiers — S, A, B, C, D and more — while the OBS overlay mirrors every placement instantly. It ships with 8 presets: top streamers on Twitch across six regions, Kick, YouTube, plus best anime, Oscar Best Picture winners, Pokémon, modern footballers and games. You can also paste your own comma-separated list.
How does the Bracket Builder tournament work on stream?
Enter 8, 16 or 32 competitors and Play On Stream generates a seeded single-elimination bracket. Each round shows one 1v1 matchup: you pick the winner, the bracket advances automatically, and both the full tree and the current matchup stay visible in the overlay for your viewers.
Which streaming platforms does it work with?
All of them. Play On Stream is platform-independent — it needs no API connection, chat bot or platform login, only a browser source in your broadcasting software. It is used on Twitch, Kick, YouTube Live, Trovo and Rumble, and works with OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop and vMix.
Do my viewers need to install anything to join in?
No. Viewers take part through your chat and the on-stream overlay, so there is nothing for them to install, sign up for or open. That keeps participation as high as possible: anyone who can type in chat is already playing.
Can I suggest a new game?
Yes — use the Suggest a Game button in the header on any page. Every submission is read, and the ideas that would work best on stream get built and added in a later update.
